The VAS capabilities of EWM are very strong as EWM is designed primarily for advanced contract warehouses. VASs can be combined with both goods receipt and goods issue. VASs in process can be tracked in the warehouse monitor. The warehouse monitor is a dashboard into activities occurring in the warehouse. VASs are increasingly important in warehousing and can be related to the concept of forward stocking locations.
